EIR – Technical Rider

Thank you for hosting EIR. Technical requirements vary depending on the agreed performance format. EIR is flexible and accustomed to adapting to festivals, clubs, retreat centers, theaters, yoga studios, and intimate venues. Please feel free to contact us in advance so we can determine the simplest and most effective setup for your event.

Audio & Performance Setup

Mixing

  • I can provide my own Behringer mixer, or

  • I am happy to use the venue's front-of-house (house) mixer.

DJ Equipment

  • I can provide my own AlphaTheta XDJ system (requires 2 XLR inputs to the house console), or

  • I am happy to perform on the venue's Pioneer CDJ or XDJ setup.

Hybrid DJ + Live Vocals + Live Instruments

  • (2) Available ¼-inch TRS line inputs for the stereo outputs from my Scarlett audio interface

  • (2) Available XLR line inputs for my AlphaTheta XDJ system (if I am providing my own decks)

  • (2) Vocal microphone channels

  • (2) Additional XLR microphone inputs for crystal singing bowls, handpan, flute, percussion, or other live instruments (as needed)

DJ Set with Live Vocals

  • Professional Pioneer CDJ/XDJ setup, or I can provide my own AlphaTheta XDJ system and need (2) Available XLR line inputs

  • (1) Vocal microphone XLR input with reverb and delay available through the house mixer or effects processor

  • Professional full-range PA system with dedicated subwoofers suitable for dance music playback

Performance Position

  • One sturdy professional DJ table or riser at standing height (36–42 in / 91–107 cm).

  • If using a standard banquet table, please raise it to proper DJ height with risers or an equivalent solution.

  • Minimum table size:6 ft (183 cm) wide when I am providing my own DJ equipment, laptop, keyboard/controller, audio interface, and mixer.

  • Table should safely support approximately 150 lb (68 kg) of equipment.

  • Minimum clear performance area of 8 ft × 6 ft (2.4 m × 1.8 m) for performances that include DJ equipment, live vocals, crystal singing bowls, keyboard, and additional instruments.

  • One power strip with at least six available outlets at the performance position.

  • Easily accessible AC power.

Sound System

  • Professional full-range PA system appropriate for the venue.

  • Dedicated subwoofers are required for dance-focused performances.

  • Stereo connection from the DJ setup to the house PA.

  • Soundcheck prior to performance whenever possible.

Hospitality

  • Bottled still water and/or sparkling water available backstage or at the performance area.

  • Sparkling water of any flavor is appreciated.

  • Whenever possible, please provide beverages in glass bottles, aluminum cans, or other non-plastic packaging.

  • Technical requirements will be confirmed in advance based on the agreed performance format.

  • If any listed equipment is unavailable, please contact us ahead of time so an alternative configuration can be arranged.

  • EIR is flexible and happy to work with your production team to create the best possible experience for the audience while accommodating the venue's capabilities.
